The historic Star Hotel in Alfriston, East Sussex, features in a new series starting on Thursday 12th August. Purchased in November 2019 by celebrity business woman Alex Polizzi and her mother Olga, the hotel has undergone a major renovation and reopened in June this year. The 30 bedroom hotel set in the heart of the village has been carefully remodelled to standards inspired by Olga Polizzi and features a restaurant and inner courtyard carefully modelled in a Mediterranean style.
Technology played a key role in the renovation and the hotel now features high speed WiFi throughout amongst other key innovations including state of the art telephony. CloudConnX are delighted to have played a part by providing ultrafast connectivity to the site with our partner Truebyte (https://www.truebyte.co.uk/), the IT company responsible for delivery of technology to the hotel. Working closely with Truebyte and the main site contractor JH Payne (http://www.jhpayne.co.uk/), it was possible to identify expedient routes to install optical fibre into the building whilst avoiding costs for roadworks.
